paper, a ceiling fan

Over the ceiling fan in the middle of the white room there hangs a square wire grid. Its form is derived from the pattern of the ceiling panels. The square misformed itself under its own weight, creating a new shape. Around the edges of this shape there are white paper cut-outs hanging, depicting the five key elements of the space: the shuttered parts of the room that are characteristic not only for the half-open airy nature of this particular space but generally for most of the spaces on Curaçao.
This paper heart of the white room slowly rotates around with the movement of the ceiling fan.
