43 second-hand wooden tables, wooden beams, a swing
W 4,3m L 7,8m H 2,5m

On the grass field of the Westerpark stands a square structure. It consists of second-hand tables whose legs are stabbing outwardly. The tables are stacked side by side and on top of each other, framework of wooden beams holding them together.
The sculpture can be entered. The view at the entrance is at first blocked by a table, after walking around it there opens up a secluded, intimate interior. The inside walls consist of tabletops forming a painting-like composition of different sizes, colours and details.
There hangs a swing in the middle of the room. When swinging, one flies through the air and space along the different tabletops. By swinging high enough, the viewer gets to peek out with the motion of a recurrent sweep. In between each gaze outside, there are seconds that the visibility is lost and the course of the events gets interrupted. This allows each time for new meanings to be ascribed to the seen images and through this a very own interpretation of the reality.
